What makes it a Vietnamese waffle?

Vietnamese waffles are made with a coconut milk base and a combination of wheat, tapioca and rice flour. It is mildly sweet, fragrant, and has a crispy chewy texture. Often enjoyed by itself, the waffles can also be eaten with a variety of mix-ins and toppings.
